Another of my Cultured Stone fireplaces featured in Spring 2012 editionof Our Homes Magazine!

These days, it's impossible to flip through a home improvement, decorating or house & home magazine without seeing at least one application of Cultured Stone. As I've stated before, and the many pictures of my work illustrate....cultured stone is a sure way of adding value and warmth to your home.

In the Spring 2012 edition of Our Homes Magazine (Barrie, Orillia, Midland and Innisfil) you will see a featured fireplace that was previously an all-wood trim fireplace. I installed the Cultured Stone over the existing wood fireplace - again, no invasive tear-down involved! This installation can also be applied over existing old and out-dated brick fireplaces without having to remove the existing brick.

Cultured Stone - A Mess-Free Exterior Installation

Cultured stone is not only for new houses but can also be applied on any house - it can replace bricks, aluminum siding or stucco.  Cultured stone will transform your house from outdated to a modern look without the hassles or mess of structural construction.

I thought I'd show some pictures of an exterior cultured stone project, in-process, to demonstrate how clean and problem-free cultured stone installation is.

This 20-year old home is located north of Barrie, right on the water. Cultured stone is great for homes and cottages, and withstands all extreme weather conditions!

Another living room fireplace with Cultured Stone

Good morning!

I hope you all enjoy this photo of a cultured-stone fireplace I did featuring a wooden mantle and a beautiful raised hearth. Like all of my fireplaces, this one was custom-designed by myself and the homeowners. The final product really provides a focal point for the entire room.

The homeowners have also enjoyed decorating and adding the finishing touches to their new cultured-stone fireplace.

Hi all,

It has been a while! I've been busy this winter doing Cultured Stone fireplaces and feature walls all over Southern Ontario. Stay tuned for posts showcasing warm-and-cozy living room transformations using Cultured Stone.

As much as I LOVE winter (yeah right!) I couldn't be happier that spring is right around the corner. Exterior stone walls, retaining walls, outdoor fireplaces and living spaces - lots of options for using Cultured Stone to upgrade your exterior.
